1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services.

• Personal details such as name and email address
• Resume/CV and professional details (skills, experience, education)
• Interview responses, scores, and performance data
• Basic technical data such as device, browser, and usage activity

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to make the platform more effective and relevant.

• Generate AI-based interview questions
• Provide feedback, scores, and improvement suggestions
• Customize content based on your skills and experience
• Improve system performance and user experience
• Provide support and important updates

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We respect your privacy and do not sell your data.

We may share data only in limited cases:

• With trusted service providers (hosting, AI tools)
• When required by law or legal authorities

4. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary.

• Data is stored while your account is active
• Some data may be retained for legal or security reasons (for example billing and tax records where applicable)
• You can close your account from your billing / account settings when logged in

5. User Rights

You have full control over your data while your account is active.

• Access your data
• Update or correct information
• Close your account from Billing & invoices (this removes product data as described in section 4; name, email, and phone are retained as explained there)
• Stop using the platform anytime

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to improve your experience.

Cookies help us:

7. Payments, Subscriptions and Refund Policy

Path2Career may offer paid plans with additional features.

Important terms:

• Payments are made in advance
• Subscription features depend on your selected plan

Refund Policy:

• Payments are generally non-refundable
• No refunds for partial usage or dissatisfaction

8. AI Content Policy

Path2Career uses Artificial Intelligence to generate interview questions, answers, hints, and feedback.

Important to understand:

• Content is generated automatically by AI
• It may sometimes be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated
• AI responses are for practice and guidance only

User responsibility:

• Verify important answers independently
• Do not rely solely on AI for real interview decisions

9. Optional platform content controls (copy, paste, selection, and screenshots)

Path2Career may enable optional, browser-based technical measures on the user-facing website and application (for example the public site, sign-in and registration, learning and exam flows, and the logged-in user area). Your organization’s administrators turn these on or off in System & security settings; they are off by default. We may change how these features work, or add related safeguards, without prior notice.

9.1 Copy, paste, and selection

When an administrator enables the corresponding option, the platform may:

• Limit or block text selection, clipboard copy, cut, and paste, and some drag operations on general page content.
• Continue to allow normal typing and editing inside typical data fields (such as text inputs, text areas, and select controls) and inside supported in-page code editors (for example Ace or CodeMirror-style areas), so routine forms and coding practice remain usable.
• Honor explicit exceptions where the page marks content with attributes such as data-allow-copy or data-allow-select for accessibility or operational reasons.

9.2 Screenshot and capture deterrence

When an administrator enables the corresponding option, the platform may apply additional measures that vary by browser and device. These can include, without limitation:

• Focus and visibility: Showing a full-screen cover or similar treatment when the page loses visibility, when the browser window loses focus, when you navigate away, or when the tab is backgrounded or frozen according to the browser’s page-lifecycle behavior, so that material is not readable in those states.
• Periodic checks: Re-evaluating focus and visibility at short intervals so the protection stays aligned with your session even if a single event is missed.
• Printing: Obscuring or covering content during print or “save as PDF” flows while the browser reports a print session.
• Keyboard shortcuts: Intercepting or limiting certain combinations where the browser allows it (for example some Print Screen paths, or common screen-capture shortcuts on Windows or macOS). Not every shortcut or tool can be intercepted.
• Context menus: Limiting the default right-click menu outside normal form or editor areas.
• Images and graphics: Reducing drag-and-drop of certain elements (such as images, SVG, or canvas content) to limit quick extraction of visuals.

9.3 What this does not guarantee

These are deterrents only. A normal website cannot control the operating system or external hardware. We do not warrant that assessment or learning content cannot be recorded. For example, capture may still be possible using another device (such as a camera pointed at the screen), specialized software, a virtual machine, or any method that does not rely on the behaviors described above. You agree not to treat the presence or absence of these measures as a guarantee of confidentiality.

9.4 Scope and your acceptance

• These controls do not apply to the administrator control panel while a user is signed in with administrative privileges.
• If you use the platform while an organization has enabled any of these options, you consent to the described behaviors as reasonable protection of content, exams, and intellectual property, and you accept that your experience (including printing, tab switching, and input methods) may be affected.
• If you require a reasonable adjustment (for example for assistive technology or documented accessibility needs), contact support@path2career.in so we can work with your administrator where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

Path2Career is a learning and practice platform.

We are not responsible for:

• Incorrect AI-generated questions or answers
• Interview outcomes or job results
• Decisions made based on platform content
• Temporary service interruptions or data loss

11. Updates to Policies

We may update these policies from time to time.

• Changes are posted on this page
• Continued use of the platform means you accept the updates

12. Acceptable Use Policy

At Path2Career, users are expected to use the platform responsibly and ethically.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for illegal or harmful activities
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the system
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to misuse services
• Copy, reproduce, or resell platform content
• Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content

13. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

14. Intellectual Property Rights

All content and technology on Path2Career are owned by us.

This includes:

• AI systems and logic
• Interview questions and structure
• Website design and features

15. Service Availability

We aim to provide a smooth experience, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

This includes:

• Temporary downtime
• System updates or maintenance
• Unexpected technical issues

16. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate our policies
• You misuse the platform
• Required by legal obligations

17. Indemnification

By using Path2Career, you agree to protect us from legal claims arising from:

• Misuse of the platform
• Violation of these terms
• Infringement of third-party rights

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

• Any disputes will be subject to Indian jurisdiction
• Courts in India will have authority over legal matters

19. Community Questions and Posting Rules

Path2Career may provide anonymous community areas (for example, unsolved questions and public replies). By posting, you agree to responsible and relevant use.

• Only post interview, learning, coding, exam, or career-related content
• Do not post unrelated, promotional, spam, abusive, sexual, hateful, or misleading content
• Do not share personal contact details, sensitive data, or third-party confidential information
• Users may edit or delete their own posts/replies, subject to platform limits and logs
• Admins may review, hide, edit, or permanently delete any community content for policy or legal reasons
• Anonymous labels are shown to users, but original account details remain visible to authorized admins

21. Device Login Allocation and Plan Enforcement

Device access is enforced strictly based on your active plan and platform security rules. Path2Career decides and controls how many device sessions or device changes are allowed for each plan.

• Each plan has fixed device allocation and/or monthly device change limits
• Login from additional or replacement devices may be blocked when plan limits are reached
• Device limits can differ by plan tier and may be revised at any time
• Sharing account access across multiple users or devices beyond allocation is prohibited
• Users are responsible for managing active devices from account settings where available
